Virtual Assistant in Kent – my journey

Hi, I'm Caroline and I'm a Virtual Assistant in Kent.

I’ve always been an organised person, loved school and even quite enjoyed doing exams (I know, I’m that person). Whilst studying for a modern languages degree I spent a year living abroad in Germany, an amazing experience which taught me so much about independence and having a sense of adventure. At this point I’d never even heard of a Virtual Assistant.

Admin Support Work Experience

For over twenty years I worked in a wide variety of administrative support roles within Higher Education at the University for the Creative Arts and the European School of Osteopathy.
During this time I supported, collaborated with and communicated with colleagues, senior managers, external stakeholders and students.
I also learnt a little bit about Art & Design, then Osteopathy – neither of which I was familiar with previously!

New Decade, New Career - Perks Admin

I had seen friends leaving busy full-time jobs to work freelance for a better work-life balance and was eager to do the same. To ensure that I had the relevant business skills I enrolled on a part-time course run by the organisation Successful Mums, which was amazing!

As a Kent-based Virtual Assistant, I  work remotely with a portfolio of clients, saving you time by managing your larger, time-consuming ‘projects’. General administration tasks are also something I can help with on a regular basis. I’m flexible and adaptable so am happy to discuss clients’ particular needs on a case by case basis.
